It looks like marker from a distance. Must've gone wrong somewhere. =/ Ah well. My half of an art trade with Dear Old Mr. -donsamakun. Rawr. Saori and Kaori, on the left and right respectively. Took me quite some time to decide what hues and shades since the refs I used were flat-colored. And I got lazy with weaponry so I just left them like this.
Saori's supposed to have a Tanegashima rifle in her left hand while Kaori has a French wheel-lock pistol. Don't ask why I picked those weapons. D: Use your eemajeenayshu~n.
And I got lazy with background too, so sue me.
Catch me on MSN to obtain the .wpb for OC or the lineart if you feel like coloring.
GADZOOKS, I mean, KATSUKE, OUR DEAL IS DONE. >8DDDDD
It really looks like marker, but I think it suits the pic. And my 'eemajeenayshu~n' gone wild 'cause I have no idea what a Tanega-something is. But in my mind it looks cool XD

Merely following the plans to the letter, good sir. X: I still need more practice in OC if I were to stick to this for a while, I can't find my Corel anywhere. >_>
Matchlock musket rifle, highest quality made by the Japanese and one of the more accurate guns manufactured at the time. They say it can even rival that of a modern sniper rifle in terms of firing speed and accuracy, but as for rate, it'll take some time. :/ And thanks for the comment.
